Job Announcement: Body Worn Camera Coordinator, Metropolitan Police Department

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is the primary law enforcement agency for the District of Columbia. It is the mission of the MPD to safeguard the District of Columbia and protect its residents and visitors by providing the highest quality of police service with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to innovation that integrates people, technology and progressive business systems. 

MPD has an opening for a Body Work Camera (BWC) Coordinator. 

The purpose of this position is to coordinate, monitor and resolve activities associated with BWCs. 

The coordinator will inspect dock stations and cameras, monitor cameras and equipment, and initiate requests for damages cameras/related equipment or accessories. A high school diploma or GED is required, however, a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
