Law delegation to Myanmar November 5-12, 2017. UDC David A. Clarke School of Law

Dear Alumni, Colleagues, Friends,

This will be amazing - 2,000 Buddhist Temples in the Foothills of the Himalayas!

As you may recall from my previous correspondence, I will be leading a law delegation to Myanmar this fall from November 5-12, 2017. I would like to invite you to join me for what promises to be a rewarding professional and cultural journey.

Our delegation will explore Myanmar's legal system through a series of meetings, site visits, and informal exchanges. Our goal is to learn about Myanmar's governance, legal systems, and its legal education. We also hope to learn about efforts for ending poverty and inequality, and explore collaborations with law schools, firms, and social justice NGO’s. In addition to the professional visits, we will enjoy authentic and immersive cultural activities in Yangon, Inle Lake, and Bagan. Seasoned guides will accompany us to allow us to fully experience the extraordinary culture, sites, and people of Myanmar. You can view the full, detailed itinerary here:

Our delegation will meet in Yangon on Sunday, November 5, 2017, and depart on Sunday, November 12. The cost per person is $3750. This includes all transportation within Myanmar on air-conditioned motor coaches, internal flights, all meetings and cultural activities as outlined in the schedule, first-class luxury accommodations based on double occupancy, most meals as outlined in the schedule, a professional travel manager, expert city guides, pre-departure preparation, and 24 hour emergency support during travel.

The cost does not include your international flight to and from Yangon, passport/visa fees, optional gratuities, personal expenses, or meals/activities not listed in the schedule. Guests are also invited and encouraged to join. If you prefer a single room, one can be provided for an additional $1150.

If you have questions regarding the program or would like to enroll, I encourage you to contact me or Yvonne Trudeau at Worldwide Adventures at 509-280-1664 or ytrudeau@worldwideadventuresindia.com

Since space on the delegation is limited, I encourage you to respond as soon as possible if you intend to join. I am pleased to be involved in this exciting opportunity and hope you will join me on this fascinating adventure!

Sincerely,

Shelley Broderick
