Key Role:
Serve as a dynamic business continuity specialist with a
professional certification, and join our growing team in our McLean, VA
office to advance our business continuity program.
Provide subject matter expertise to our business continuity
stakeholders on all phases of the business continuity life cycle with a high
emphasis on Business Impact
Analysis (BIA), plan development, testing, training and exercises (TT&E)
and performance metrics.
Develop, maintain and exercise business continuity plans in conjunction
with our business continuity coordinators (BCCs), business process owners and
recovery teams.
Respond to and manage recovery teams through disasters, crisis, and
disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations.
Ensure that robust, action-oriented and exercisable business
continuity plans exist with all corporate departments.
Leverage your high quality interpersonal skills to form excellent and
trusted partnerships with all business continuity stakeholders.
Perform critical business process dependency mapping to ensure
critical dependencies, including IT and IS applications, recovery
capabilities that meet our business needs.
Basic
Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with managing a corporate business continuity
program for a private sector organization
-Experience with
developing, testing, and maintaining business continuity plans, including
facilitating tabletop and functional exercises
-Experience with
Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint
-Experience with the
Fusion Framework System or other automated business continuity planning tool
and developing business continuity performance metrics for delivery to plan
owners
-Knowledge of all
phases of the business continuity life cycle and the National Incident
Management System (NIMS)
-Ability to
effectively present in front of employees at all levels of the organization,
including senior leadership
-Ability to work
evenings or weekends in response to business interruption events
-Ability to obtain a
security clearance
-BA or BS degree
-CBCP or MBCP
Certification
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with
operational planning and organization
-Experience with
emergency notification messaging tools a plus
-Experience with
private sector emergency preparedness and response
-Knowledge of
process improvement principles and methods
-Ability to work
independently while supporting multiple projects
-Ability to
comprehend scope of recovery efforts, coordinate critical activities
during continuity exercises and events, and proficiency with the tools
required to pull projects together activities, project management, and
risk management principles and practices
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent
presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills
-Possession of
excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization
skills
-Possession of
excellent project management skills, including task identification, and project
planning
-PMP Certification
