In Honor and in the memory of John Lewis (U.S. Rep, and Human Rights Advocate)

VOTE

If you’re of voting age in the U.S. register and vote in local, State, and National elections.  Ensure that others have that right and opportunity to vote.

In honor of U.S. Representative John Lewis who fought and suffered during the 1960’s that I witnessed during my youth as a child of the 50’s.  We must honor his legacy and sacrifice that he and others endured for our right to vote.

Prepare and be proactive in wearing your protective mask and practice safe social distancing now for the opportunity in November when either voting polls will be open or voting my mail-in in your State or jurisdiction.

Prepare and be proactive in ensuring your physical and mental health are one of your priorities as well as eating well, and getting the rest needed for the November elections.

We honor those not only in the U.S. that have suffered and sacrificed for the right to vote, but globally honor those in our communities that are advocating for the rights of others.  Our human rights.

“We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today.  We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now.  In this unfolding conundrum of life and history there is such a thing as being too late.  Procrastination is still the thief of time.  Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity.  This may well be mankind’s last chance to choose between chaos or community.”

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., ‘Where Are We Going From Here:  Chaos or Community’.
