Study is enrolling patients of any age with confirmed Ebola virus disease. 

Volunteers for NIH Clinical Center Study. Alcohol Consumption Behavior

Do you drink Alcohol? Drink daily or almost daily? Are you between the ages of 21 and 60?

We are seeking men and women for a study of alcohol consumption behavior in a research setting. Volunteers should be healthy and drug-free, and not seeking treatment for alcohol-related problems.

Research participation includes 4-5 study visits at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda MD. Study visits consist of alcohol consumption, blood draws, and filling out questionnaires. Some study visits require you to stay overnight at the Clinical Center. There is no cost to participate and compensation may be provided.

FREE....Emerging Infectious Disease Workshops for 2019. U.S.

HBCU medical schools, and those with healthcare and public health education & training should have this as an elective or mandatory course of instruction.

Attendance
The workshop is beneficial to both healthcare workers and public health professionals. Hospital attendees may include, but are not limited to, medical, laboratory and/or nursing staff, administration, education/training leadership, and infection control leadership. Clinicians focused on special populations, such as Pediatrics and Labor and Delivery, can also benefit from this workshop.

Registration and Lodging
There is no tuition cost for this program. NETEC and its partners are not responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airfare cancellation or hotel deposits. No travel funding is available to participants from NETEC.

Travel plans should not be booked until attendance confirmation is communicated to registrants by a member of NETEC.

Meeting Materials
Course content will be provided via the NETEC’S Online Learning Management System. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops and electronic devices. Complimentary Wi-Fi and charging stations are provided. Clinical Skills sessions require participants to bring a PPE ensemble from their institution. Details will be provided upon registration approval.
