Health Equity Policy & Planning Analyst

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about climate change and health, racial justice, and working across sectors to advance health equity policy and planning! The Health Equity Policy & Planning Analyst will provide analytical and operational support to the CDPH Climate Change & Health Equity Section, Health in All Policies Program, and Racial & Health Equity Initiative. This position will be based in the Climate Change Local Assistance Unit of the CDPH Office of Health Equity.
Candidates from historically under-represented communities are highly encouraged to apply. CDPH has participated in the Government Alliance for Race and Equity (GARE) for four years, and is implementing its Racial and Health Equity Plan, addressing issues such as hiring, retention, workplace culture, recruitment pipelines, programs, polices, and more.
The position will be located in either Sacramento or Richmond, CA (when we are no longer telecommuting due to COVID-19). There may be some continued opportunities to telework.
The position pays $5,149.00 - $6,446.00 per month.

To be eligible for this position, you must first pass the civil servant exam for the “Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA)” classification.
