Disaster Workforce Engagement Specialist – Albany, NY
The Disaster Workforce Engagement Specialist provides
functional support to build, sustain and energize the disaster workforce. The
Disaster Workforce Engagement Specialist creates and maintains a foundation of
continuous and robust volunteer engagement using established processes and
collaborating with Volunteer Services staff. Collaborate with regional function
leads to support capacity building of regional and national readiness targets,
and capacity to carry out the day to day mission. Support the implementation of
Disaster Programs, assist with remote team building of employees and
volunteers, and solicit feedback from end customers during steady state as well
as operational response periods. Provide support, development and/or leadership
guidance to all volunteers.

Regional Planning & Readiness Manager – Work from
Home in PA
The Regional Planning & Readiness Manager will provide functional expertise to Leadership at a regional level for disaster planning & mapping. Through a trained and engaged volunteer workforce, the Regional Planning & Readiness Manager will support local communities by providing services to include but are not limited to response to recurrent local disasters (house fires, floods, etc.), capacity building for mass care service delivery, participation in the Home Fire Campaign, and direct assistance and recovery services to those impacted by disasters. Develop, guide, lead, and support team of trained volunteers, as well as implement and develop initiatives to increase Red Cross visibility through program/service delivery of disaster preparedness, response, and recovery programs. The Regional Planning & Readiness Manager will act as a program or service subject matter expert (SME) to staff, management, volunteers, and external partners in disaster planning & mapping.
