Call for Grant Reviewers for August 2020

The Mayor's Office on African American Affairs is recruiting a panel of more than 30 experienced professionals to help evaluate the grant applications that we receive for the FY 2021 program year. The grant is primarily focused on programs that provide direct services to the District's African American community that address at least one of the following areas: 

• Education
• Jobs & Economic Development
• Public Safety
• Civic Engagement
• Health & Wellness
• Youth Engagement
• Arts & Creative Economy

We are looking for a diverse group of volunteer reviewers that have management, evaluation, planning, or implementation experience in any of the aforementioned areas. Reviewers will read, score and evaluate proposals. The grant review period will be conducted during the month of August 2020. The review can be conducted via your own computer through ZoomGrants.
