Bank of America Charitable Foundation invites applications for community needs
The Bank of America Charitable Foundation works to develop strong partnerships with nonprofit organizations to address issues fundamental to economic mobility and social progress in low- and moderate-income communities.
The foundation focuses on improving the lives of individuals and families by investing in health and jobs, and strengthening broader community vitality by addressing needs related to small business resiliency, and community development. Through partnerships, the foundation supports vulnerable populations, including working families, youth, seniors, individuals living with disabilities, veterans, and those impacted by the criminal justice system—enabling them to move forward in their goals.
At the June 30, 2025, deadline, the foundation is accepting proposals in the stable housing and empowering communities categories.
To be eligible, applicants must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, not classified as a private foundation, and not operating through a fiscal agent or sponsor and must be based in and serve communities in one of Bank of America’s eligible states and local markets (listed here).
For complete program guidelines, application instructions, and any eligibility quiz, see the Bank of America Foundation website.
