ACBC’s 4th Winter Awards Gala celebrates....”Economic expansion,through partnership”.
The African and Caribbean Business Council (ACBC) presents its 4th WINTER AWARDS DINNER AND BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE.
(PHILADELPHIA) October 28, 2013) -- The African and Caribbean Business Council (ACBC) is proud to announce its 4th Winter Awards and Dinner Gala on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at the Hilton Philadelphia Airport Hotel, 4509 Island Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19153.   The day’s events will commence with a Business Roundtable: 9am—1pm, a VIP Reception: 6pm  -7 pm, and the Award Dinner: 7pm -11pm.
The organization will pay tribute to the businesses and culture of the African and Caribbean Countries and welcome Former President of NIGERIA, H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo,  and, H.E. Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Governor, State of Osun. Also to be present are ambassadors representing Nigeria, Cayenne, Zambia, Namibia, Mali, Angola, Tanzania, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Botswana, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, and South Africa.
The goal of ACBC is to promote and preserve African and Caribbean business interests both here and abroad, by driving economic development and expanding access to global markets. Several individuals who are at the center of creating a culture of change, quality, and empowerment within the African and Caribbean diaspora will receive award in Innovation, Excellence, Service, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Person of the Year and ACBC’s Medal of Honor. ACBC President Dr. Azuka Anyiam described the event as a signature event that expresses ACBC quality and its effort in enhancing business expansion and trade promotion.

Keynote Speaker is Ms. Lorie Williams, Founder of a Canadian Harambee Education Society for Kenya and Tanzania. The business roundtable is free for everyone to attend.
