April Is National Minority Health Month!
 
April is National Minority Health Month (#NMHM14). While the U.S. has come a long way, communities of color continue to cope with health disparities, including in mental health. This year's theme----Prevention Is Power: Taking Action for Health Equity----encompasses many aspects of wellness!
 
There are many ways to get involved:

Is your organization or community hosting a wellness-related activity for communities of color? Email your event information to wellness@samhsa.hhs.gov and we'll add it to the Wellness Activities Map!

Health Conditions Study

 "Health Conditions"

Shugoll Research is looking for men and women ages 45-64 that have been diagnosed with either hepatitis B or hepatitis C.  The study will be held on Thursday, May 1st and Friday, May 2nd.

If you qualify and participate, you will receive a generous gratuity for your time and opinions.
