CDP training is completely funded for state, local, tribal and territorial emergency responders to include roundtrip airfare, meals, lodging, training and any equipment required during training.  Select learn more about the Instructor Development Theme Week:   https://cdp.dhs.gov/training/week/theme/trainers

As you may know, the CDP offers Train-the-Trainer courses, which recognizes those who graduate as Indirect Trainers for their home state in accordance with the State/Territory/Tribal Training point of contact directive. The Indirect Training Program (ITP) provides Indirect Trainers with administrative support to deliver the specific course(s) linked to each Train-the-Trainer course. This administrative support is at no cost to trainers nor their organization, and includes student training materials and certificates of completion. Training provided within states and local jurisdictions by state and local trainers is not only a force multiplier but also a critical component in helping to build a culture of preparedness in communities, as this training is delivered by trainers who work and know their community/organizational needs.
