Indigenous Peoples' Day The Beginning for the Americas.

We are constantly coming to understand the past in the Americas, and the establishment of these United States of America.

A past deeply rooted in the ruling and power structure from Europe, Asia, and Africa.  The history of communities.

It starts in the learning process, in the classroom and at home.

This about sums up this holiday.

Step outside of the bondaries.

"We are all descendants of the subjugated".

How?

Historically, as the America's and other global regions were colonized if you were not borne of royalty you were considered a subject, and at the whims of those in power (Kings, Queens, Earls, Duke's, hierarchy of the religious structure).

Equity, equality.....same level of power and not..

Equal.
.....

noun
  1. a person or thing considered to be the same as another in status or quality.
"we all treat each other as equals"
