Get Up to Speed: Local Capacity Strengthening Five-Minute Trainings  USAID’s new Local Capacity Strengthening Policy guides decisions about why and how to invest in the capacity of local partners to better achieve inclusive and locally-led development. Through seven flexible, action-oriented principles, it encourages alignment with local priorities and practicing mutuality. Explore how to apply the policy in-depth through five-minute interactive trainings that include examples and resources. UPCOMING EVENTS FY 2023 Third Quarter Business Forecast and Partner Update Webinar On Wednesday, June 14 at 9:00 a.m. ET, USAID will host its FY 2023 Second Quarter Business Forecast and Partner Update webinar. The Agency hosts this quarterly webinar to provide potential and current partners the opportunity to hear about priorities from senior leaders across the Agency. Register here.  USAID 14th Annual Small Business Conference On Wednesday, June 21, USAID’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) will host its 14th Annual Small Business Conference, this year titled “Pathways to Partnership.” The conference will offer the opportunity for existing and prospective U.S. small business partners to engage with USAID Bureaus, Independent Offices, and Mission staff. Organizations that are only seeking assistance awards are no longer required to obtain CAGE/NCAGE [Commercial and Government Entity/NATO Commercial and Government Entity] codes.
