Opportunity-EMI_E8515_Cybersecurity_Symposium_March 25-28, 2024
Symposium Description:
The
Symposium will inform the participants on ways to prepare communities for cyber
incidents and make them more resilient in the aftermath. The agenda will include
presentations from subject matter experts on how to prepare your community or
enterprise for cyber threats and FEMA-certified courses from members of the
National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium, including Preparing for Cyber
Attacks and Incidents and Community Cybersecurity Preparedness Simulation. These
courses are designed to prepare a community to respond to and defend against
cyber-attacks through planning, information sharing and other methods, and to

improving the competencies of the U.S. officials in Emergency Management at all
