Watch, Listen, Observe, Record. Black Lives Matter faces DOJ investigation, leadership changes. See CharityWatch's updated rating. November 2025

Look in the Mirror

At BEMA International we turn the microscope even on ourselves for self evaluation monthly.

Rule of Thumb

Even within BEMA we have a 70|30 Rule.  At a minimum 70% of any funds raised MUST be allocated for intended program or funds raised for, with 30% at a maximum allocated for ALL overhead and expenditures (contractors, vendors, etc. must be paid).  That rule can fluctuate ( 80|20, 85|15).

Trust and Layers to fulfill needs

Many individuals and communities do not trust their local governments globally.  Extended ‘red tape’, process & procedures.

Top-down approach to reach individuals and communities, creating layers that deduct from the source of funding at each layer,  Total amount at ground level never close original amount.

In any crisis\disaster\emergency.  Watch, listen, observe, and record.
