Funding Opportunity: Massachusetts-based organizations to apply for a monthly $5,000 grant to support local nonprofits.

SBB Research Group Foundation invites applications from Massachusetts-based nonprofits

Established to further the philanthropic mission of SBB Research Group LLC (SBBRG), a Chicago-based investment management firm, the SBB Research Group Foundation aims to support ambitious organizations solving unmet needs with thoughtful, long-term strategies.

The foundation invites Massachusetts-based organizations to apply for a monthly $5,000 grant to support local nonprofits.

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing, rolling basis, with certain candidates identified as nominees, and contacted a brief phone or video call. A select number of nominees will then be deemed finalists, and invited to give a formal presentation for up to 10 minutes to the committee via video conference. The committee will vote to select at least one winner per month, who will receive a grant of $5,000 and the opportunity to pursue additional funding opportunities from SBB Research Group. All other finalists will receive $1,000.

Any 501(c)(3) organization may apply, but preference will be given to organizations with five to 49 full-time employees.
