This involves the direct conversion of energy from sunlight into a usable fuel (in this case, hydrogen). Using only earth-abundant materials, they developed the most efficient conversion method to date. The trick was to decouple the site where sunlight is captured from the site where the conversion reaction takes place.”

Human Trafficking and the Opioid Crisis Webinar Wednesday, January 31, 2018 | 1–2:30 p.m. Eastern Time Join the Administration for Children and Families and SAMHSA during National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month for a webinar that highlights emerging trends, case studies, and research on human trafficking and substance use, with a specific focus on the opioid crisis. Grantees will discuss the role of substance use by individuals at risk of, currently experiencing, or recovering from human trafficking; examine trauma-informed approaches from multiple perspectives to understand contributing factors to vulnerability; identify promising practices; and recommend spotlight treatment options that address the underlying issues that can put victims and survivors at risk.  Register for the Webinar
