$2.5 million in hurricane recovery grants

Supporting recovery in Florida and Puerto Rico

It’s hard to believe that the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season officially begins tomorrow. Even as we prepare for what this season may bring, we are still learning about gaps in recovery from last season’s storms.

To help affected communities, we're pleased to announce eight grants totaling nearly $2.5 million from the Atlantic Hurricane Season Recovery Fund. The grants support recovery from 2022 hurricanes and aim to build communities’ ability to withstand future storms.
