Join us for a two-day
course focusing on public health law and how it impacts the delivery of
emergency management. This course is appropriate for all EM professionals and
others interested in exploring public health implications during emergencies
from a legal perspective.
Study the U. S.
Constitution, various relevant statues, such as the Catastrophic Health
Emergencies Act, and Maryland Code sections and federal guidance related
emergency management and public health. This concentrated public health law
focus will address isolation and quarantine, forced vaccinations, compelled
medical testing and treatment, and medical information sharing. This course
eligible for CEUs.
