  • AAUW Community Action Grants: Letters of Interest due September 17, 2026.   • Adolf Busch Award (ABA) - FY 2027: Applications due September 18, 2026. 501(c)(3) nonprofits may apply to use music to address social injustice, inequity, and lack of opportunity. The maximum award is $10,000.
  • Aerie Real Foundation Community Grants FY26: Applications accepted on a rolling basis with a deadline in September. 501(c)3 nonprofits may apply for support to build confidence in women by creating access to much-needed products, promoting menstrual equity, developing leadership skills, and empowering underserved communities. The maximum grant is $10,000.
  • Agriculture and Food Research Initiative Competitive Grants Program Education and Workforce Development: Applications due December 31, 2026. Colleges and university entities, private organizations, or individuals may be eligible depending on project type. USDA invites applications to support education and workforce development through professional training, youth engagement, undergraduate research, and fellowships for predoctoral and postdoctoral scholars. The maximum grant is $650,000.
  • AIDS United Rapid Response Technical Assistance (TA) Program via Sector Transformation Initiative Portfolio: Requests reviewed on a rolling basis. This program is designed to strengthen HIV service organizations as they navigate current funding landscape shifts.   • American Camp Association Character at Camp Grants FY2026 (Planning, Implementation, and Network Implementation Grants): Applications due October 1, 2026. 501(c)3 nonprofits and local government organizations that offer day or overnight camp programming may apply for support with in starting, enhancing, expanding, or celebrating character development programs or projects. The maximum planning grant is $50,000, implementation grant is $200,000, and network implementation grant is $300,000.
  • American Heart Association Impact Funds: Applications accepted on a rolling basis. For-profit and nonprofit organizations tackling social drivers of health may apply for support in the form of investments, loans, or grants to transform Health Care Access & Quality, Food Security, or Economic Empowerment.   • American Kennel Club (AKC) Reunite Microchip Scanner Donation Program FY2026: Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Shelters, rescues, and other 501(c)3 nonprofit animal welfare organizations may apply for free universal microchip scanners.
  • American Osteopathic Foundation Caring for Communities Grant FY2026: Applications due August 31, 2026. Osteopathically centric qualified 501(c)3 health centers may apply for projects that address health disparities and provide care to underserved communities. The maximum grant is $25,000.
  • American Theatre Wing (ATW): The Andrew Lloyd Webber Initiative: Classroom Resources Grants - FY 2026: Applications due September 18, 2026.   • Amgen Foundation U.S. Healthcare Donations FY 2026: Applications accepted on a rolling basis.   • Closed Loop Partners (Recycling, Plastics, Infrastructure, and Ventures) FY2026: Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Municipalities and private companies may apply for financing for innovative waste management or recycling technologies and infrastructure that can increase recycling in areas with no or limited access to recycling. Typical loans range between $500,000-$5 million over a 3-8 year term, with each loan secured by collateral.
  • Comer Family Foundation Syringe Services and Community-Based Harm Reduction Programs Grant FY2026: Applications due November 1, 2026. 501(c)3 nonprofits with a budget less than $600,000 may apply to support syringe services programs and community-based harm reduction programs. The maximum grant is $20,000.

Faith-based organizations and local governments may apply to enhance security and law enforcement capabilities at faith-based institutions and houses of worship to prevent and respond to bias-motivated crimes. The maximum grant is $200,000.
  • US HHS Legal Assistance Enhancement Program Grants: Applications due August 25, 2026. Public-private partnerships may apply to participate in a cooperative agreement to expand or improve the delivery of legal services to older adults. The maximum award is $250,000.
  • US NEH Scholarly Editions and Translations - FY 2026: Applications due September 16, 2026. 501(c)3 nonprofits, local governments, and Institutions of Higher Education may apply to support collaborative teams who edit, annotate, and translate foundational humanities texts that are vital to generating new scholarship but are not available in adequate editions or translations. This year’s competition is limited to projects on American history and culture or Western civilization. The maximum award is $1,000,000.
  • USA Lacrosse Grants: Application deadline 7/31/2026. Grants support organizations buy equipment, develop adaptive programming, and provide stipends to coaches for professional development.
  • USA Pickleball Serves Court Enhancement FY2026: Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Nonprofits and local government may apply for projects that promote the development and growth of pickleball nationwide. Average grants in the past have been around $1,500.
  • Versacare Foundation Catalyst Grant FY2026: Applications accepted on a rolling basis. Seventh-Day Adventist denomination-owned or -operated entities, as well as faith-based organizations and other nonprofit organizations, may apply to support community needs. The maximum grant is $10,000.
  • Versacare Foundation: $40,001+ Impact Grant - FY 2026: Concept Notes due October 31, 2026. Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) denomination-owned or operated entities, as well as faith-based organizations and other nonprofit organizations that support the mission of the SDA Church, may apply to demonstrate creativity and innovation in the delivery of services that meet the needs of individuals or groups. The minimum grant is $40,001.
  • Versacare Foundation: Venture Grant - FY 2026: Applications due December 31, 2026. Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) denomination-owned or operated entities, as well as faith-based organizations and other nonprofit organizations that support the mission of the SDA Church, may apply to support innovative projects and ministries that create loving and just communities. The maximum grant is $40,000.
  • Vertex Grants FY 2026: Applications accepted on a rolling basis. A wide variety of nonprofits, private sector, schools, and public entities may apply to support educational, advocacy, or scientific initiatives intended for a specific audience of health care professionals, patients and/or caregivers, or the medical research community. Past grants have ranged from $24,000 to $750,000.
  • Vulcan Materials Company Foundation: Applications accepted on a rolling basis. 501(c)3 nonprofits, local governments, and schools may apply to support education and environmental stewardship. Grants average around $15,000.
  • Walmart Foundation Spark Good Local Grants FY2026: Applications due November 30, 2026 (and in July). Nonprofit organizations, governments, or educational institutions that directly benefit the service area of a Walmart or Sam's Club store may apply for support for projects that meet the unique needs of the communities where Walmart operates, build pride among all associates, and deepen relationships with customers and members.
  • Waste Management (WM) Charitable Contributions Program. Applications accepted year-round. 501(c)3 or public organizations may apply for a charitable contribution to make communities safer, stronger, and more sustainable. WM funds environmental stewardship, environmental justice, sustainability education, workforce and skills development, community vitality, and supplier diversity. No maximum is specified.
  • Wilson Fish Bridge to Employment Program (US HHS Administration for Children and Families): Closes on August 10, 2026. A wide variety of nonprofits, educational institutions and schools, and government entities may apply. The program provides funds to ensure recipients of Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) can access required employment services as outlined in the Immigration and Nationality Act.
  • Wish You Well Foundation FY 2026: Applications accepted on a rolling basis. 501(c)3 nonprofits may apply to support adult and family literacy by fostering new, and promoting existing, adult literacy and educational programs. The maximum grant is $10,000.
  • World Childhood Foundation Childhood USA FY2026: Applications due by September 15, 2026. 501(c)3 nonprofits may apply to inspire, promote, and develop solutions to end sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Typical grants range from $10,000 to $25,000.
