Derrick Edwards a doctoral student at Trevecca Nazarene
University is conducting a study evaluating some psychological factors that may be associated
with firefighter/EMT resiliency. This study is being
completed in an effort to reduce the frequency of psychological injuries
experienced by emergency responders. Derrick is a former member of the fire
service and current instructor with the Firefighter Behavioral Health
Alliance, and knows first hand the impact experienced as part of the
profession.
