"There will always be collateral damage."
Each profession as initial, and follow on responders with key roles in addressing crisis locally, and of national significance. Trust and credibility must always be maintained with the public and those we serve. Most importantly in saving lives.
Change comes by asking questions. So many questions to get to the heart of the problem to maintain that trust.
To make the leap to the next level of evolution in public safety we must not only ask the question but be honest and sincere to provide the solution and answers no matter how hard in this changing environment.
"There will always be collateral damage."
