UPCOMING WEBINAR INTRODUCTION TO CHILD LABOUR IN GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAINS ​​​​​ June 9, 2021 at 10:45 AM EDT   For the International Year for the Elimination of Child Labour, the UN Global Compact Network USA and the UN Global Compact Network UK are launching an Elimination of Child Labour Webinar Series, an interactive series of digital events to take place from June to November 2021. The webinar series will raise awareness on the importance of the eradication of child labour and inspire action in this space.  Our first event will occur on June 9, 2021 and will introduce the issue of child labour in global supply chains and provide suggestions for practical solutions by highlighting key stakeholders’ actions. We will be joined by speakers from the International Organisation of Employers, UNICEF, IKEA, Williams-Sonoma, Ford, and the Dutch government. Time will be set aside for questions from the audience. ​​
