History Repeats itself in many forms. Same game different players and pawns. September 2022

Even during times of crisis (Katrina, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Flint, Jackson, etc..)

But the States continue to demand funding during those times of crisis for select few.

(CNN)The relocation of about 50 migrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, initiated this week by Florida's governor, has revived memories of strikingly similar tactics employed by southern segregationists 60 years ago.

In 1962, a group of conservatives, intent on retaliating against desegregation efforts during the civil rights movement, funded one-way trips to the north for Black citizens, in what they called "Reverse Freedom Rides.".............

“We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today.  We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now.  In this unfolding conundrum of life and history there is such a thing as being too late.  Procrastination is still the thief of time.  Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity.

This may well be mankind’s last chance to choose between chaos or community.”

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., ‘Where Are We Going From Here:  Chaos or Community’.

  1. Let us not in the spirit of correctness become stupid or uninformed in our words and actions.

Forcibly removing anyone from their home and surroundings is inhuman and against the rule of law as established by the UN and other humanitarian bodies.

The forceful removal of people and families destroys one sense of belonging, self and sets one off in a direction which is very complicated and dangerous as it is difficult to calculate one direction without a sense of location.

This type of genocidal behavior which began with the forceful removal of indigenous (native) Americans has been going on for more than 200 years. White America upped the anti and expanded their cruelty during WWII when Japanese Americans were driven from their homes, land taken and businesses destroyed. The modern day version of this sick and discriminatory policy was the actions of the Bush administration when they forcefully removed people from their homes and community during the Rita/Katrina catastrophe, many whom have yet to get their lives straighten out and never compensated. Their land housing and businesses were also lost or take without compensation.

This is not a "Freedom Ride" it is a trip to social hell, forced on people unable to fight back and defend themselves and families.
