THIS SATURDAY! Busboys and Poets invites you to our   CUBA WEEK QUALIFIER POETRY SLAM Hosted by Charity Blackwell   Saturday, December 17, 2022 starting at 7pm Busboys and Poets Anacostia

 

Come join us to see who makes it to the next round of our Cuba Trip Poetry Slam! For two hours, audiences will watch as 12 poets compete for an all inclusive 5 day trip to the 31st International Book Fair in Havana, Cuba.    Expect to be moved, expect a packed house, expect the unexpected, but above all come with an open mind and ear.
