              Disaster Relief Fund (Community Name)

be created for the over 3500 counties, or even cities for a streamlined disaster relief (financial, other…)’ to be created tied to the following:

1. IRS 501c3 Disaster Relief Fund-Community Name
2. Fund tied to account of Federal Reserve for regional accounting and monitoring.
3. Disaster Relief Fund-Community Name, as
1. an ongoing fund for community contributions,
2. central donation point for community when disasters occur,
3. Partnership with local county emergency management agency as a fund agent,
4. Fund utilized for local county grant opportunities for ensuring investments address mitigation and other grant opportunities to truly serve the members of the community,
5. Private sector businesses of the community, especially small-business contribute and access the fund to by-pass use of loans for recovery, with  payments\contributions to the fund for fund long-term sustainability,

View in browser   Disaster Relief Fund Nearly Dry as Congress Recesses As the hurricane season enters its busiest time and with Congress out for recess, FEMA is left with a dwindling Disaster Relief Fund, the money used to help communities recover after hurricanes. August 11, 2023 •  As the busiest part of hurricane season approaches, the federal government said that it may run out of money to help affected communities by the end of this month.
