CERTCON 2023- Community Ready: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Join us for CERTCON 2023, a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to building a strong and resilient community! This in-person gathering will take place at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington D.C. on 4200 Connecticut Ave NW. Get ready to be inspired and equipped with the knowledge and skills to become a true community hero!

There will be a Friday night social event held at : Flavor Garden, 4400 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008

Saturday’s programming will feature topics for everyone who wants to be prepared to handle emergencies and disasters.

CERTCON will also offer more specialized training for volunteers in emergency preparedness and response, including Medical Reserve Corps, Red Cross, Team Rubicon, Community Animal Response Teams, etc.

Exercise Participation

And on Sunday afternoon, we invite you to take part in a drill for a mass casualty incident.

You can be part of a response team or be a victim-actor!
