ANNOUNCEMENT   EPA Announces New Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Resource for Planning Grants: Capacity Building Through Effective Meaningful Engagement Booklet   Today, EPA announces a new resource for the Climate Pollution Reduction Planning Grant, Capacity Building Through Effective Meaningful Engagement Booklet. As CPRG planning grantees think through climate action planning, meaningful engagement with communities must be at the center.  When this critical aspect of strategic planning is done right – from equitable design, inclusive decision-making, input touchpoints with all communities, community partners and interested parties throughout the process – there’s greater buy-in to support change and drive impact.  Knowing that grantees are coming into this planning process with varying experiences, we wanted to provide a new resource. The “Capacity Building Through Effective Meaningful Engagement Booklet” is a tool intended to help create or expand plans for engaging meaningfully with communities.
