The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science & Technology Directorate’s (S&T) Homeland Security Startup Studio (HSSS) is accepting applications for the 2024 cohort until January 5, 2024.  Conducted in partnership with FedTech, HSSS forms teams of entrepreneurs around promising federally funded technologies to assess their commercialization potential and move the technologies to market. The teams receive expert training and experiential learning from coaches and mentors to assist them in starting companies to license and commercialize the technologies. The 2024 cohort will run for 16 weeks from February 2024 – May 2024. Entrepreneur participants are expected to spend ~20 hours a week (weekends and evenings) on the two-phased program that focuses on building entrepreneurial skills and forming early-stage companies. HSSS is looking for diverse applicants who are ready for the next step in their entrepreneurship journey.
