The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science
& Technology Silicon Valley Innovation Program (SVIP) has announced a new
funding opportunity!
The Synthetic Data Generator topic call seeks
innovative technology solutions that can synthetically generate
data that models and replicates the shape and patterns of real
data while mitigating privacy and security harms. This topic call
will address a critical need for DHS capability that supports
collaborative use of data and mitigates privacy and security
risks inherent in the sharing of sensitive data.
In collaboration with the DHS Cybersecurity and
Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the DHS Privacy Office
(PRIV), SVIP will host a hybrid industry day on Thursday,
February 22, 2024. The event will provide detailed information
about the technical requirements, submission process, and
resources available to startups interested in applying to the
Synthetic Data Generator topic call. Organizations interested in
learning about the mission need and technology use cases are
welcome to attend this hybrid event. Attendees joining in-person
also have an opportunity to meet with DHS representatives.
Join us in-person or online on Thursday, February
22, 2024, from
1:00 - 3:30 p.m. ET, to learn more about the Synthetic Data Generator topic call
and how to work with SVIP.
