Public Comment Period Open on Changes to FEMA's Individual Assistance Program

FEMA is making changes to increase equity in the Individual Assistance program by simplifying processes, removing barriers to entry, and increasing eligibility for certain types of assistance. A Federal Register notice has been posted about the changes with the opportunity for public comment through July 22, 2024.�
