Request for Proposals FY2018 Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (MBSYEP)

Request for Proposals
FY2018 Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (MBSYEP)

The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH), in partnership with the Department of Employment Services (DOES) invites the submission of proposals from arts and humanities organizations to serve as host work sites for DC youth ages 14-24 enrolled in MBSYEP. Youth will be paid an hourly rate through the Department of Employment Services and organizations will receive compensation so that they may provide a constructive and enriching professional experience.

*Please note that selected organizations will be awarded a contract for their services; this is not a CAH grant program.

CAH staff members are available to help applicants by providing group and individual technical assistance. Attend a free workshop and application reviews to learn useful information about the agency's partnership with MBSYEP and how to submit a contract application. More information about the workshop and contract may be found at www.dcarts.dc.gov. CAH urges all applicants to attend. In addition, CAH staff members are available for 30-minute appointments up to two days before the deadline.

Join us in-person at the upcoming workshop.
