Call for Nominations
USICD’s 2021 Board of Directors!

The United States International Council on Disabilities (USICD) needs your skills and commitment for our Board of Directors.

USICD is currently seeking nominations for the 2021 Board of Directors. Serving on USICD’s Board of Directors is a great honor as you will be serving alongside nationally recognized activists and disability experts and supporting the values in which the organization was built while contributing to the financial stability of the organization.

USICD seeks to have a balance in the composition of the board. We seek individuals:

  • with and without disabilities (preferably with disabilities)
  • business leaders
  • people of color
  • individuals with experience and skills in fund development, general law (such as contracts, intellectual property and non-profit law), marketing, publishing, media relations, accounting, and legislative advocacy are also encouraged to apply.

This list is neither exclusionary nor exhaustive. It is a call to the membership to offer your talents and resources to the USICD.

If you or someone you know is passionate about USICD’s mission and interested in sitting on the 2021 Board of Directors, please submit a nomination. USICD’s Call for Nominations is open from Friday, October 16th until Sunday, October 25th, 2020 at 11:59 PM EST. Only USICD members in good standing will be considered.
