Seven
Defendants Sentenced to Federal Prison in $11.5 Million Fraud Case

Seven defendants were sentenced to federal prison for
their involvement in a scheme to defraud the U.S. Department of
Agriculture out of more than $11.5 million that was intended to
benefit farmers who had been discriminated against. The investigation
is being conducted by USDA-OIG and IRS-CI with assistance from the
United States Marshals Service and the United States Postal
Inspection Service.
