The UN Global Compact launched its Forward Faster initiative
to accelerate private sector action on the Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) and 2030 Agenda.
Businesses are asked to commit to one or more
ambitious targets in gender equality, climate action, living wage, water
resilience and finance & investment.
“Forward Faster is here to guide
companies on where they can make the biggest, fastest impact for 2030,”
said Sanda Ojiambo, CEO and Executive Director of the UN Global
