Happy New Year! I trust your year is off to a terrific start.

I am pleased to share an important op-ed about Nigeria that was published on AllAfrica.com today. Currently, Nigeria is without an ambassador in Washington DC, which is a matter of concern considering its implications for US-Nigeria relations.

In response to this, in a new op-ed titled "Strengthening Nigeria's Position in America: 5 Expectations for the Incoming Ambassador to WashingtonThe Nigerian Center explores the ramifications of this vacuum and proposes recommendations for the incoming ambassador. These recommendations are drawn from best practices observed in other countries and insights from policy experts in the field.
